Paul 23 July 1881 in Meigs County, Tennessee, daughter of Meridith Paul and Orphie Sellers. She died Abt. 1888. He married (2) Martha Lee Alexander Abt. 1888 in Florence, Lauderdale County, Alabama. She was born June 1872 in Georgia. He married (3) Julia Rinks Abt. 1903. She was born Abt. 1861 in Tennessee, and died Aft. 1920.

J.A. Crabtree is called by Death
J. A. Crabtree, age 79, died at his home here Sunday, June 12, after a
lingering illness.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon
with the Reverend S. W. Franklin officiating.
Among the survivors are his widow, his son, Charlie, of Tahlequah, and
his brother of Joplin, Missouri.

Funeral services for John Allen Crabtree, 79, a carpenter, were conducted
at the First Methodist church Tuesday afternoon by the Reverend SW Franklin,
pastor. Mr. Crabtree died Sunday morning at his home of pneumonia.
He was born in Rome (sic) county, Tennessee, and had lived here several
years.
Surviving him are his son, Charlie Crabtree, and Mrs. Glen Couch, a daughter,
both of this city.
Interment was made in the City cemetery under the direction of the
Reed-Culver funeral home.
Charlie Crabtree, the son of John and Mary Paul Crabtree, was born 07 June 1886 in Monroe County, Tennessee, and died 08 December 1947 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. He married (1)Lydia Ann Scott 29 June 1907 in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri, daughter of Emory Scott. She was born 18 June 1885 in Missouri, and died 29 September 1941 in Tahlequah, Cherokee County, Oklahoma. He married 2nd Nellie.

Charles Crabtree Rites Conducted Here Today
Funeral services for Charles E. Crabtree, longtime contractor and carpenter
of Cherokee County, who died Monday at his home in Houston, Texas, were held at
the Reed-Culver Funeral Home here at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon.
Rev. Jack Gritz of the Baptist church officiated and burial was in the
Tahlequah City cemetery.
Crabtree, who moved to Houston about three years ago, is survived by his
widow, Nellie; a son, Hoyt, of Houston, and three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Weaver,
Houston, and Mrs. Fern Fesperman and Mrs. Jewell Yeats, both of Bartlesville.

MRS. LYDIA CRABTREE PASSES AWAY
Lydia Crabtree,56, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Emory Scott, passed away at her home,
Monday, September 29, at 6:20 after a lingering illness of eight years.
She was born in Medoc, Missouri, June 18, 1885. She was married to C. E. Crabtree, July 20, 1907, in Joplin, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Crabtree moved to Tahlequah twenty-three years ago.
She is survived by her husband Mr. C.E. Crabtree, her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Emory Scott, two brothers, Mr. Charlie Scott of Barbar and Mr. Murry Scott of Coweta, four children, Mr. Hoyte Crabtree, Mrs. Louis [Fern] Fesperman, Ruth Crabtree, and Jewell Crabtree.
The services were conducted by Rev J.C. Hendrick of the Baptist Church. Interment
was in the city cemetery and funeral arrangements were by Reed-Culver.
