Martha found him the next morning. Joseph is buried in the Sixes Cemetery, in

AGED MAN TAKES OWN LIFE SAT. AT CHEROKEE MILLS
Man Who Had Rounded Out Four Score Years Ended His Life By Hanging Self
Mr. Joe Clark, age 80, a citizen of Cherokee Mills district, this county, committed suicide early Saturday morning by tying a rope around his neck and fastening the other end to a rafter in a room of his home. Mr. Clark left no indications as to why he took his life, however, his wife says that he was sitting before the fire during the night with his head resting in his hands as if in deep study, she thinking nothing serious of the matter retired and on waking in the morning found his body hanging to the rafter in another room, death having occurred several hours before he was found.
Mr. Clark and family had been living at their present location for about three years, during this time he had made many friends, and news of his death came as a great shock to them. He is survived by a wife and three children.
His remains were laid to rest Monday morning in Sixes cemetery in the presence of a large gathering of friends and relatives, the funeral services being conducted by his pastor.

I have not been able to find Martha or Jessee and Luzenia and family on the 1930, census. I have been told that at some time they had moved to south Georgia, but I don't know when or where. And I have no information on Melvin at all, did he marry, when did he die and where? All help appreciated.
If you have any information to share or correct on these families, please write to
