Geography Counties, Shires, Cities, Towns...it's all just SO confusing. Even if you were born and brought up in Britain, it's unlikely that you know where everywhere is. I am not a geography teacher and I am not going to reinvent the wheel. There is a fabulous web site already up which deals with British Geography and also with resources for each area. If you want to find out where a place is on a modern map try www.multimap.com If you want to hunt for living relatives try www.192.com If you are still stuck, ask the list.
