In the name of God amen I William Marshall of Nelson County State of Kentucky being very weak and much pained in body but of sound mind and disposing memory do make and ordain this piece of writing as my last Will and Testament that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid also I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Jane all my household and kitchen furniture and moveable property and I give and bequeath to my son William Marshall fifty acres of land adjoining John Ricks which he now lives on also I give and bequeath unto my son John fifty acres of land an the back line. Also the balance of land I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Jane forever and at her death, Jeremiah Marshall and James Marshall to have her part of the land also I give and bequeath to all my children five shillings each, lastly, I constitute and appoint my wife Jane Marshall to be my executrix and my son William Marshall to be my executor of this last will and testament revoking all former wills and bequeaths by me made & ratifying and confirming this only as my last will & testament in whereof I have these presents set my hand this 1st day of November 1803 signed sealed published pronounced & declared by the said William Marshall as his last will and testament in presents of us the subscribers
