This indenture made this nineteenth day of Feby {100 acres. see patent} in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Forty two between Aaron Young + Margret his wife of the County of Marshall + state of Virginia of the first part and Levin C. Kirkman of the county + state aforesaid of the second part [witnesses?] that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situated on the [vales?] of Lynn Camp in the county of Marshall and bounded and described as follows to wit Beginning at a sugar tree in Strickers line thence with said line S. 32. W. 203 poles to a poplar, thence S 72 E 80 poles to a locust thence North 32 E. 197 poles to an oak, thence N 64. W. 78 poles to the beginning. together with all the appertenances thereof and all the estate right title and interest whatsoever of the said parties of the first part either in law or Equity of in And to the above bargained premises with their appurtenances. To have and to hold the said premises above described to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit andbehalf of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. And the same will forever warrant and Defend unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all and any person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or pretending to claim [under?] the said parties of the first part the whole or any part thereof. In witness whereof the parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
