"To all Christian peope to whome these presents shall come, we William Hudson of the county of Rappah. and Rebecca my wife send greeting in or Lord God everlasting know ye that we the said Wm. Hudson and Rebecca my wife for diverse good causes and especially for one horse and the sume of one thousand pounds of tobo in caske have granted unto Thomas Day of the said county his heires and Admrs. one hundred acres of land being part of a parcell of land conteyning three hundred fifty and six acres being in Rappa. county aforesd on the south side of Rappa River and bounded as followes ... the place where it first began as by a Patent bearing the date the 24th of May 1666, to have and to hold hte said land being the Plantacon part with all rights and privledges with all houses and buildings other profitts to him the said Thomas Day he paying unto or Sovgne Lord the King such Rents as shall be due and the said William Hudson and Rebecca his wife doe agree to warrant and defent the said land from the clayme of any person whatsoever int whitness whereof I the said William Hudson have sett my hand and Seale this 25th day of Janry 1687/8
