| ``Charles Orville Snow, 83, of LaPlata, died in a Kirksville hospital Friday morning at 8:37. The body was taken to the Wilson Funeral Home in LaPlata where funeral services were conducted by Rev. James Crawford of Brashear with burial in the LaPlata Cemetery. He was born September 17, 1879 in Macon. He was first married to Myrtle Cupp who preceded him in death. In October, 1914, he married Sophia Kautz who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Curtis Snow of Mexico, Ralph Snow of St. Paul, Minnesota, Raymond Snow of LaPlata, Roger Snow of Novelty and Robert Snow of Edina; five daughters, Velma Goodwin of Edina, Dorothy Taylor of Lewistown, Leota Krawl of Atlanta, Ruby Boyles of LaPlata and Deloma Harrington of Elr?ma, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Bill Snow of LaPlata and Ed Snow of Mexico; 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mr. Snow farmed near Novelty until 1956 at which time he retired and moved to LaPlata. LaPlata Home Press August 8, 1963'' | ||
