Going through a box of things that belonged to my grandfather a journal was found that was written by his grandmother. I photo copied all of the pages in the journal and began my search for more information. The original is still in my grandfather's house in McKinleyville, CA.
This journal is my main source for the Stern, Gault and Heitchew family branches. From the information in this journal I have been able to add sources from the census, and birth, marriage and death indexes.
