The Trenbath Family History Site

Logo of Guild of One-Name Studies

Welcome to the Trenbath section of my Family History website which is dedicated to One Name Studies of Trenbath, Fargus, Rahr and Weston - and related lines. I am a member of the Society of Genealogists and of the Guild of One-Name Studies. This means that I collect all references to these surnames.

STOP PRESS - Salford Museum and Art Gallery are hosting an exhibition on Salford at War - 100 years ago. It features a display about Jack Trenbath, who was killed on 9th September 1918, only two months before the end of the war.

Paul Hassall has written the first of two articles about Jack in issue no. 35 (summer 2014) of Life Times Link magazine

My latest GEDCOM file, including research notes, is uploaded to World Connect and it is advisable to check this site for possible extra information.  Tribal Pages  also has my files, but may not be up to date.

I would like to thank all those who have helped towards compiling these files - relations,  archivists, librarians and others. I have tried to give them due acknowledgement, but if you feel that I have left you out, please tell me!

Please contact me if you have interests in any of the surnames included in the charts, giving the address of the relevant web page. Also before using my material on other web pages. ALSO, if there are any errors on the website, such as display and wrong hyperlinks.
