Abbreviated notes transcribed from Wills Index on m/f, seen at Winchester in November 1998.
These have been collected from the microfiches of the wills index, originally at Somerset House in London, UK, looking for possible relatives of Ann Bond and for William Bond, who was Master of the SS Dido, on which Richard Gillett made his Mediterranean Voyage in 1878
I have a brief note that there is one for Thomas Bond in Devon in FEB 1857 and one for Thomas Mallock Bond in Frampton, Devon in March 1857
1862 - Dyer Bond, the younger - 27 NOV. Will. Formerly of Hull, master mariner, but late of Fleetwood, Lancs, harbour master. D 19 AUG 1862 at Fleetwood. Probate at York by Bessy Bond of Fleetwood, widow. Effects under £800.
1864 - Charles Bond - 27 OCT. Will. Seaman of HM ship Eclipse. Died 5 May, at sea. Proved by Principal Registry, by oath of Thomas rawlins of St Simon Zelotes Infirmary, Morpeth St., bethnal Green, London, MDX, foreman of labourers at Tower of London (Tool Store), sole executor. Effects under £100.
