He worked for the Hare Estate as a general labourer, and also managed the cricket ground. He loved fishing and smoking his pipe. Joan remembers him as being a nice old man. He died on 19 July 1943 and is buried at Stow Bardolph with Eliza. |
Before she married, she worked as a domestic servant for a butcher, (William Bunkall) in the High Steet in Downham. (ref: 1871 Census for Downham.) She died on 2 Dec 1933 after a long illness, and is buried at Stow Bardolph with Robert. |

Fred was born in 1884. He didn't marry. He lived in Hilgay for most of his adult life.
