John BAXTER (Johannis) was born in 1694, the son of Johannes and Susanna BAXTER in Helpringham, Lincs. 1720 -1728:John Baxter was listed as Overseer Of Poor; Churchwarden 1728-1739; Constable - 1736. After Prudence died he married Mary BASS in 1742 in Spalding.They had a son Henry(b 1741), and a possible second son John(b 1741). John was buried on 11 Aug 1757 in Helpringham |
