Daisy was Emma's sister. daughter to Robert and Eliza CHAPMAN. She was born in Stow Bardolph, Norfolk in October 1896. She was one of a set of triplets. [The other two, William, and Dorothy Ellen died as babies.]

Daisy and Albert married in 1918 at Stow Bardolph church and held their wedding reception at the Hare Arms. They lived in Stow Bardolph for the whole of their married life. They ran the post office* and Albert was also the village postman. Albert died in 1964, and is buried at Stow.

Their daughter was Marjorie and she is exactly three years older than Joan to the day. She lives with one of her sons Adrian in Suffolk.

Daisy outlived Albert by almost 25 years. She died at Hunstanton on 1st March 1989. Her ashes were buried at Stow Bardolph churchyard with Albert.
