Boaz and Frances BAXTER

(née BEE)

 Boaz was bp. on7th June in 1730 in Helpringham, Lincs to John and Prudence BAXTER (née GOODYEAR)

He was a gentleman, and was listed as a churchwarden, constable, and poor officer 1775, 1770.

Boaz died in Helpringham on 31 Aug 1804 aged 74 years.

 Frances BEE was bp. on 12 Jan 1734. in Aswarby,Lincs. to Stephen & Abigail BEE.

 

She died on 18 Dec 1814. Her burial (at the age of 80) was on 21 Dec 1814 in Helpringham.

Inside Helpringham church there are several memorial stones set amongst the flagstones near the altar, to other members of the Baxter family, including Mary in 1762, and Mary in 1774. On a stone tablet inside the church in Helpringham on the wall to the left of the altar is inscribed:

late of this Place

Gent

who died Aug 31st 1804 aged 74 years.

Likewise of Frances his Wife

who died Dec 18th 1814 aged 80 years
