Albert Matthew MIMMS' funeral cortege gathering outside the Prince of Orange PH at 118, Lower Rd, Rotherhithe, in 1933.
He was the landlord here for several years.
The second bearer from the front is Albert George MIMMS, his son, and the bearer at the very back of the coffin is my grandad Richard WEEDEN.

The pub building in 2003.
A one bedroom flat in the building was on the market for £187,500, Three bedroom apartments cost £295,000.
In recent years it has served as a punk revival club, then a jazz club and then became a bit run down and seedy. Lower Road is no longer the lovely wide thoroughfare it used to be. It is now apparently an extremely noisy dual-carriageway.
My MIMMS ancestors would turn in their graves.........
