Miss Mabel Wittkopp And Reuben Fenner Are Wedded
Miss Mabel Wittkopp, daughter of Mrs. Hattie Wittkopp, of Plymouth, and Reuben Fenner, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Fenner,
of Sheboygan Falls, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Plymouth at St. John's Lutheran church. Rev.
Martin Schmidt performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a dress of white satin trimmed with Venecian lace and rhinestones. She wore a veil which was attached to
a crown of beads and rhinestones. White chiffon hose and silver slippers completed her costume. Her flowers consisted
of a shower bouquet.
Miss Mildred Wittkopp, a sister of the bride, was the maid-of-honor and wore a dress of white taffeta and carried a shower
bouquet of rosebuds.
Miss Ruth Krueger, the flower girl, wore a frock of white satin and carried a basket of roses.
Master Warren Wittkopp, the ringbearer, wore a white suit and carried a white satin pillow.
Misses Cora Fenner [groom's sister] and Goldie Nicalous, were the bridesmaids. Miss Fenner wore a dress of yellow crepe
de chine and carried a shower bouquet and Miss Nicalous was attired in a dress of pink georgette crepe and also carried a
John Wittkopp and Benno Roepke were the groom's attendants.
A reception was held at the home of the bride and at 5 o'clock a wedding supper was served to about forty guests.
Decorations were carried out in pink and yellow.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Proehl, Mr. and Mrs. George Wittkopp, Miss Evelyn Wittkopp, Miss Nioma Holzschuh,
Misses Marguerite and Emily Bade, all of Plymouth; Mrs. Henrietta Wittkopp, Norman Kalk, Mr. and Mrs. William Fenner,
William Fenner Jr., Arno and Fred Fenner, Miss Lottie Buchholz, Mr. and Mrs. George Fenner, all of Sheboygan Falls; Mr.
and Mrs. Erwin Beecher, Mrs. Emma Proehl, Miss Lavilla Eick and Edwin Spitzer and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Gartman, of
Later in the evening the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Rice Lake and other places in the northern part of the
state. After May 15 they will be at home with the bride's mother at Plymouth.
