Sergeant Drews Is Married

A very pretty double wedding took place this afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Resch, 305 Wisconsin avenue, when their daughter, Miss Theresa Resch, was married to Sergeant John Drews, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Drews, recently returned from service in France, and another daughter, Miss Katherine Resch, was married to Albert Nelson.

The ceremonies were performed at 3 o'clock by the Rev. Theodore Laetsch, in the presence of a great many relatives and friends. Miss Theresa Resch was lovely in a gown of white satin and a long veil. She carried an arm bouquet of white asters tied with red, white and blue ribbons. She was attended by Miss Florence Sachse, who wore a white silk dress and carried asters. Sergeant Drews was attended by his brother, Fred Drews.

Miss Katherine Resch was attired in a lovely white silk gown and veil and carried a shower bouquet of roses and swansonia. Her bridesmaid, Mrs. George Schuh, wore a dress of white crepe de chine and carried carnations. George Schuh served Mr. Nelson as best man.

At five o'clock an elaborate supper was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Resch. American flags were used profusely as decorations in the home. Mr. and Mrs. John Drews will remain at the home of her parents until Friday, when Sergeant Drews will return to Camp Dix, N.J., where he is stationed. Mrs. Drews will join him there in a short time.

Mr. and Mrs. Nelson will live with the bride's parents, and will be at home there to their many friends.
