The ancestors of my James Moore are believed to have emmigrated from Northern Ireland to North Carolina, where James was born about 1765. He married Frances and they had seven children in Greene County, Tennessee. James owned land on the Lick Creek in Greene County. Their daughter Nancy Hannah Moore married William W. Thomason 11 Oct 1840 in Greene County. |
