The origins of our known Bird family begin with Drury Dudley Bird who was born in Montgomery County, North Carolina about 1786. Drury was in Stewart County, Tennessee by 1810 according to the tax list. He married Lissia DeBerry there in 1814. |

Their daughter Missouri Bird married Elijah R. Chambers 15 Jan 1845 in Stewart County. Between 1850 and 1860 Elijah and Missouri Chambers moved to Laclede County, Missouri.
I have just recently begun research on this family. All help would be appreciated.
