Hi, I'm Judy. I have been married for 40 years to a wonderful guy named Willis. We have two adult sons, Eric and Kevin. Eric is married to Sandy and they have given us an adorable grandson, Ryan. We live in the great state of Texas, home of bluebonnets and Dallas Cowboys.

     I am a retired elementary school teacher. I taught for 27 years, mostly second and fifth grades.

     For 35 years I have been interested in discovering my family history.
I have met many new "cousins" through my research.

     I am past president of the Mid-Cities Genealogical Society. We meet at the Euless Public Library the first Thursday of each month. We celebrated the 25th Anniversary of our society in June, 2003. This is Willis' grandmother's wedding dress that was displayed at the Anniversary. It belonged to Minnie Ann Brown Dunnam who was married in 1896.

     At the present I am District 11 Representative for Texas State Genealogical Society and also President Elect. We are busy planning the 2006 Texas State Genealogical Society Conference for October with wonderful national speakers: Pamela Boyer Porter and J. Mark Lowe.
