David, b. presumably in Scarborough, a big boy when his father moved from
Sportsmith to Eliot; living on part of his father's land (lic. retailer) until
about 1731 when he settled on Scottow's Hill, Scarborough. LIst 191. He
married Heester Hanscom (3). In Scarborough also his ho. was garrison in 1745.
By tradition, he shot the Indian that killed Nathaniel Dresser. His wife died
in March 1761. He was buried 6 Feb 1765. 8 children.
