Family Obituaries Since 2003Since around 2003, most newspapers have been using Legacy.com to store online obituaries. Some funeral homes post obituaries on their web sites, some newspapers leave them online for 30 days, others up to a year. Copies are then available for around $2.95. As a result these links are only active as long the obituary source permits, but may allow you to pay to receive archived newspaper obituaries.
