died on May 26, 1931 in Rock Rapids, Lyon County, Iowa, buried at Rock
Rapids Cemetery, Rock Rapids, Lyon County, Iowa. His wife Elura C.
JOHNSON Self is buried next to him (1854-1940), daughter of a Loyal T.
Johnson and Mary Goodheart.
John is the son of Ozias Self (1831-1867) and Emily Hunt (1837-1902),
and father
of Herbert O. Self.

Oct. 28, 1867 in Decorah, Winneshiek County, Iowa buried at Phelps
Cemetery, Decorah, Winneshiek County, Iowa.
Buried next to him are his brother David Self, and his mother Nancy ARY
Self.

County, Virginia, and died on November 29, 1900 in Decorah, Winneshiek
County, Iowa. Buried at Phelps Cemetery, Decorah, Winneshiek County,
Iowa. Other documents (ie 1870 Census for Winneshiek County) suggest she
was born in 1806, but her gravestone and obituary say 1795. |
