John Self, born in 1793 in Virgnia (Rockingham County?) and died on November 25, 1859 in Bureau County, Illinois; buried at Mason Cemetery, Bureau County, Illinois. He is the husband of Nancy ARY Self, and father of Rosana, Ozias, David, Phebe, Franklin, Martha, Elizabeth, and Mary Self.

Franklin Self, born August 26, 1840 in Ohio and died on April 14, 1919 in Bureau County, Illinois. He is the son of John and Nancy ARY Self. 

Mary LOWE Self, born November 16, 1845 in New Jersey and died on September 26, 1919 in Bureau County, Illinois; buried at Malden Cemetery, Malden, Bureau Co., Illinois. She is the wife of Franklin Self. 

    
Nathon L. Self, born December 1870 in Bureau County, Illinois and died in 1959 in Bureau County, Illinois; buried at Malden Cemetery, Malden, Bureau Co., Illinois. He is the son of Franklin Self.
