James Wallace Bradford,son of Walter Cushion Bradford and Mary Ella Hinkle,was born February 18,1919 in McDonalds Mill,Motgomery County,Virginia.He was killed in action in France October 13,1944.He married Bertha Edith Edwards,daughter of Jasper Edwards and Martha Melton, July 20,1940.Bertha was born March 29,1922 in Wythville,Virginia and died September 17,1951 in Roanoke County.

James and Bertha had 3 children Edith Lorraine,Wallace Eugene and Raymond Hughes Bradford.

Edith Lorraine Bradford was born May 23,1941 in Blacksburg, Virginia.She married James Andrew Hickson,son of Roy Hickson and Teresa Maxey July 8,1961 in Elliot,Virginia.

Wallace Eugene Bradford was born February 17,1943 in Montgomery County,Virginia.
