Edith M. Scriven

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Winbigler Mortuary, Santa ana, for Mrs. Edith M. Scriven, who died yesterday in her home at 1247 Cypress Ave., Santa Ana, after an extended illness.

A native of Springfield, Ill., Mrs. Scriven had lived in California for 70 years, the last 17 in Santa Ana.

Surviving are her husband, Charles; two sons [sic -- brothers], Dr. Edwin Kreck of Montrose, and Dr. F.L. Kreck of Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. P. Schneider of Montrose and Mrs. G.J. Scriven and Mrs. C.H. Benning of Santa Ana; a neice, Mrs. Elmer Fowler of Santa Ana; and a nephew, Leonard Scriven of Orange.

The Rev. J.E. Dinkel of the Richland Ave. Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be Fairhaven Cemetery.
