NOTES
At the London Metropolitan Archives there are copy certificates relating Sarah PRICE's baptism, her marriage to John TOLLIT, and the baptism of their son Thomas Price TOLLIT. These were obtained in order to prove Thomas Price TOLLIT's descent from Sarah's father, Thomas PRICE. It would appear that John and Sarah lived in Acton at the time of her death, but I have yet to find details of John TOLLIT's baptism or death / burial. It would also seem that John Tollit was an innkeeper in Acton, and I would guess this was connected with the family stagecoach business, left to John and his siblings by their father.
