Wilhelm Jaeger

The photo you have posted at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~schuckwj/247.htm of Frederick Richard Jaeger (d. 1903) is one that I too have in my small collection of old family photos, although my copy is only a photocopy given to my from my grandmother. It was quite a surprise to see it on the web!!

According to my records, the name of Wilhelm Jaeger's (d. ?) wife and mother of Wilhelm Jaeger (d. 1927) was Anna Katharina. My records suggest that she is buried in the Pierce Ave Cemetery in (or near?) Marinette. She may have had a prior marriage that may have produced a child or children. I also show 2 additional children of Wilhelm (d. ?) and Anna Katharina: Bernard (who seems to have died from a fall from a house) and Conrad (who is "supposed to have gone to South America.")

The Wilhelm Jaeger / Maria Krause line is the one about which I would have the most information. Their two children were Marie and Amelia, the former being my great-grandmother who died in 1984.

But rather than filling in the lower ends of our family trees, I proposed that we try to dig deeper into the past.

Wilhelm married Anna Katharina. (Anna Katharina was buried in Marinette, Marinette, Wisconsin, USA.)
