[Elizabeth Scherer Watson] 5   Noted events in his life were: • Obituary: Marinette Eagle Star, 27 Dec 1907, Marinette, Marinette, Wisconsin, USA. 6 HENRY ALBERT SCHERER This afternoon at half after two o'clock occurred the funeral of Henry Albert Scherer, the bright baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. John Scherer, who died Christmas Day. Services were held at Our Lady of Lourdes church, the Rev. F.G. Tully officiating and during the brief services members of the children's choir sang hymns. It was on Good Friday, in the early spring when the Christian world was commemorating the death of the Savior of the world, that the baby came to the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Scherer, and upon Christmas day when the Christian world was joyously commemorating the birth of the same Savior, the little one died, and the bereaved parents gave back the precious gift to Him who gave it. The flower-lined grave at Forest Home Cemetery, the remains of the cherished and lovely babe now rest, the bearer of the little white casket, in which reposed the fair remains, being Masters Walter Goodlet, Robert Hills, Lawrence Bergstrom and Edward Rothman. • Cemetery: Forest Home Cemetery and Mausoleum [Section Y, Block 25, Lot 3, #5], 27 Dec 1907, Marinette, Marinette, Wisconsin, USA. 7 HENRY ALBERT 1907 † 1907
