MISS SCHERER SUCCUMBS TO SIX MONTHS' ILLNESS

Oconto, Wis.

Miss Henrietta Scherer, 69, died Thursday afternoon at the Oconto hospital after an illness of six months. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's Catholic church, with the Very Rev. A.M. Keefe of St. Norbert's officiating. Burial will be in the Oconto Catholic cemetery.

Miss Scherer was born in Oconto July 18, 1871 and has lived here all her life. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Albert Whittaker and Mrs. Dennis T. Keefe, both of this city.

The body was removed to the Gagnon funeral home where it will remain until the time of the funeral.

LIFELONG RESIDENT DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS

Miss Henrietta Scherer, 69, passed away last Thursday at the Oconto hospital after six months illness. The body was taken to the Gagnon Funeral home where it remained until the services which were held Saturday morning at nine o'clock from the St. Joseph's Catholic church. Rev. A.M. Keefe officiated. Pallbearers were Antone Merline, William Phillips, Alex Olsen, George Riley, Joseph Dodds and Joseph Witeck. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery.

Miss Scherer was born July 18, 1871 in Oconto and has lived here all her life. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Albert Whittaker and Mrs. Dennis Keefe, both of Oconto
