Maria Diedrich was the daughter of Peter Diedrich. She remained single and died on July 15, 1869.

The 1870 census also lists the death of a "Mary" Diedrich, age 19, of consumption in January 1870. Anna Marie or Marie Diedrich was born in 1845 and listed on the 1860 census as age 15. In 1870 she would have been 25.
