Why do I hear great sounding music on some computers and mine sounds very differant?
It has to do with four things.
1- Brand of sound card (my pick is SoundBlaster32\64)
2- Setup of your sound card
3- Memory on your sound card
4- Speakers on your computer
If you print out this note and take it to a good computer store, along with your pc, it should only cost about $10.00 for the memory and no more then $20.00 labor to install it and set up the card. The Sound Blaster.64 Is a bit harder to upgrade the memory on, however you can order the memory direct from Sound Blaster(Creative Labs). This page is set up to use a Midi player called "Crescendo". It is a Plug-In for Netscape. This software is not needed to hear the audio but it does give you more control and better sound quality. It can be downloaded from this site Free... Live Update.com. ALL... Audio... Sound cards come set to factory defaults with very little memory. I have found that adding as little as two meg. will do the trick. Once the memory is added and the card is properly set up along with crescendo, you will hear an unbelieveable difference.

A.O.L. Browser Problems If you happen to be a member of the A.O.L. group you may be having a certain degree of problems viewing, not only the Shrum web page but many other web pages in general. There is a very easy and painless solution to your problem. First of all, install Netscape 3.0 or 4.0 or above on your computer. After you have the installation complete, get on line with A.O.L., and after you are completely loaded up minimize the A.O.L. browser by clicking the minus button (-) in the top right corner of your screen. Open the Netscape browser by clicking on the Netscape icon and you will find that things will work much faster and the Shrum Web Page will load with no problems. Try it, "I have and it works!"
