On July 5th and 6th two emails were written to me. The following days I received them, from Mary Franta (12Bedbug @ msn .com) and Janice M Schneider, respectively and independently. When I received Jan's note on July 8, Saturday morning, I was amazed! Here was information going back two more generations from all my previous data! I then took another look at Mary's note and then saw the connection. So both contributed to the above information which overlapped to an amazing degree. Mary, a descendant of Edward Oscar Schneider had more information on her branch (the living Schneiders she details are not listed here). Jan, had much of this same Schneider information she uncovered while researching a book she published on her Schneiders. I have condensed it and charted it resulting in the above graphic. If there are corrections (or even additions) please let me know. I will attempt to acquire the LDS church microfilm from which both of these Schneiders culled the above data.
I finally proof read this document comparing the two other emails (I know! I should have done that before I posted this!) and have found a few corrections that are needed and I left out about five individuals from Nicholai Schneider's line. I have names and dates of his other four children plus the wife and son of one of them. I have revised this graphic and reposted it. And it does look like there's an excellent chance Jan is related (Yea!) as she is from Nicholai, Leonardus (possible brother of my Nickolaus Schneider's father), Johannes Peter Schneider.
I noticed some errors of dates so I revised the graphic, and added some more of the descendants Jan has in her book. The LDS Family History Center hasn't called me regarding the microfilm so it looks like I won't be able to verify any of this info until September.
