4. Mathias⁴ Schneider (Joseph³, Anton², Nickolaus¹) was born 3/28/1871, died 12/10/1937. Mathias married Emma Schaefer (b. 11/4/1875, d. 2/14/1927), and Catherine Blesser (b. 8/13/1890, d. 12/27/1984).

i. Joseph M.⁵ Schneider, born 3/11/1899, died 11/6/1962. Joseph married Mary Jurs (b. 3/28/1897, d. 6/25/67) and had three children, Thomas M., Donald J., And Joyce (b. 6/28/38).

ii. Cecilia⁵ "Dete" Schneider. Never married.

iii. Edmund⁵ "Mund" Schneider. Edmund married LaVern Pearson (d.10/2/1967).

iv. John⁵ Schneider. John married Margaret Chandler (d. 1975).
