I shall not want . . . He maketh me to lie down in green pastures . . . He leadeth
me beside the still waters . . . He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness for His Name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for Thou art with me. Thy rod and
Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of
mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over . . . Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell
in the House of the Lord forever! Psalm 23 He was buried on 2 Jan 1945 in Alto

Letter From Margaret to her children read at her funeral:
Dear Children,
Please live in peace as bothers and sisters and families. There's only a heaven
and a hell we can go to. We either live for Jesus or the devil. We cannot serve
two masters. Whom do you choose to live for? With God's help bear your burdens
while you're on this earth. Look how Jesus bore our sins on the cross so that
if we are sorry for our sins and pray and ask him for forgiveness, we might have
Salvation through Him.
Please take time to read your Bible and pray with your families. IF there's time
for everything else there's time to read the Bible and pray. Hold fast to it
as long as you live.
With Love to All of You,
Margaret Schears
