Age 68. Born in Elkins, WV Nov. 26, 1928, resident of Muskego for over 40 
years. Born to Eternal Life June 23, 1997 after a long illness. Loving mom of 
Bradley (Jo Anne), Douglas (Pamela) and H. Wesley (Lynn). Loved grandma of 
Tara, Erin, Keith, Katie, Rebbeca and Jay. Loved great-grandma of Ryan Mayer. 
Mom was a strong and loving person in all our lives. She raised 3 sons alone 
and taught us to never give up. Martie was retired from the Retail Clerks 
Union. She gave to all who needed, even when she had little. As a member of 
the Southeastern Quilters and Muskego Women's Club, she, with others, made 
quilts for sick children at Children's Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House 
and others. She taught many the art of quilting, which was the main love of 
her life. As her last gift to this world, she donated her body to the Medical 
College of Wisconsin to help new doctors learn.  She is and will be deeply 
missed by all her family and many friends. Memorial Services to be announced 
at a later date. 
 
Bauer, Martin 
 
Of Sussex, died on Monday, June 23, 1997 at home at the age of 63 years. 
Martin was born on November 10, 1933 in Yugoslavia. He was a member of St. 
William's Catholic Church and retired from Crown Cork & Seal after 40 years. 
He will be sadly missed by his wife Elisabeth (nee Klein) whom he married on 
May 28, 1957. He was the loving father of Helen (William "Bill") Kirschbaum 
of the Village of Merton, WI, Peter (Julie) Bauer of Sussex, WI. Dear son of 
Mrs. Katharina Bauer of Sussex, WI. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Krista, 
Kyle, Lauren and Justin. Dear brother of Rose (Josef) Mack of Brookfield. 
Nephew of Frank (Elisabeth) Bauer of Canada, Theresa Holowitz of Germany and 
Anna Haslinger of Canada. Loving uncle of Susan (Carl) Lang and Thomas Mack. 
Brother-in-law of Rosalie Hubert of St. Louis, MO and son-in-law of Anna 
Klein of Germany.  He is further survived by many loving relatives and 
friends. He is preceded in death by his father Johann Bauer on August 10, 
1989. Martin will be sadly missed by his wife and family. The Funeral Mass of 
Christian Burial will be at St. William Catholic Church on Friday, June 27, 
1997 at 10:00 AM, Fr. David Filut officiating. Friends may call on Thursday 
from 4-8:00 PM and on Friday from 9-9:45 AM at the Funeral Home. The Parish 
Vigil will be held on Thursday at 7:30 PM. Interment will be at St. Joseph's 
Catholic Cemetery, Waukesha, WI.

of 1130 W. Lincoln Ave., Milwaukee. She was born to the late Harry and Mary 
(Henrick) Raabe March 14, 1905 in Milwaukee. The former Eleanore Raabe 
married Harry Meinburg October 1, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI. The couple owned and 
operated Walts Radio and Paint until 1961 when Harry preceded her in death. 
Eleanore was formerly a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Milwaukee, 
presently a member of Tabor Lutheran Church, Mountain.  Surviving are 1 
daughter, Ann (Robert "Bud") Wardecke, Pound; 3 grandchildren, Barbara (Andy) 
Dorn, Suamico; David (Peggy) Wardecke, Appleton; Mary McKenzie, Saipan; 5 
great-grandchildren, Suann and Robin Dorn, Steven Wendt, Sarah and Laura 
Wardecke; and 2 sisters, Leona Kalski, Milwaukee and Lorraine Barlowski; 
Milwaukee. Also survived by special friend Katherine Grahek and many nieces

Of Racine. Passed away Sunday June 22, 1997, age 27. Brian was born in 
Viroqua, WI on February 1, 1970 to Dwayne Prymek and Susan Sprifke. He has 
been a lifelong resident of Racine. Brian was employed by Hargrave Forge Die 
in Racine. He was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. 
 
Brian is survived by his parents, Susan Prymek of Racine and Dwayne 
(Patricia) Prymek of Surprise, AZ; his maternal grandmother Lorraine Sprifke 
of South Milwaukee, aunts and uncles, Allen (Susan) Sprifke, Margaret 
Leannah, Craig (Joanne) Prymek and John (Diane) Prymek. Brian is also 
survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 
his maternal grandfather, Frank Sprifke, and his paternal grandparents, John 
and Ethel Prymek.

Reinders, Victor A. "Vic" 
 
Age 90, of Waukesha, died June 22, 1997 in Linden Grove Nursing Home, 
Waukesha. He was born December 27, 1906 in Mallard, Iowa, the son of William 
and Elizabeth Namer Reinders. He was a graduate of Carroll College, Waukesha 
and received his Masters and PhD degree at the University of Wisconsin, 
Madison. At his retirement, he was Professior of Chemistry at the University 
of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Vic was very instrumental in founding the Waukesha 
Gun Club, past president of the Amateur Trapshooting Association and was 
inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame in 1981. While a Lieutenant 
in the US Army, he married Eleanor "Tommy" Thompson on Nov. 21, 1942. Tommy 
died on October 11, 1995. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary 
and Sister Henriella; three brothers, Will, Henry and Edward. A Memorial 
Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 28 at St. Matthias Episcopal 
Church, Waukesha.
