12. Hannes RIEL was born on Jul 27, 1818 in Netherlands. Jacob Riel seems to be born 11 march 1852, not 1853. In Nunspeet which is very near to Ermelo. Jacob is the son of Hannes Riel, born 27 July 1818 and Maria Assen, born 28 September 1820. Hannes and Maria had the same profession when they married, cotton-weavers. Hannes and Maria married 18 march 1847. His parents: Koenraad Riel, tailor and Hendrikje Hendriks Westhuis, she born 4 feb. 1781, Nunspeet and she died 7 sept. 1823. Could find nothing more on Koenraad but he was dead when his son married in 1847. Maria Assen was born Nunspeet, she was the daughter of Jacob Assen (who died 1826) and Christina Souneil or Sonnijl. Okay. Hendrikje Hendriks Westhuis born 4 feb. 1781, Nunspeet, daughter of Hendrik Hendriksen Westhuis en Eesje Arens. Jacob Assen born Doornspijk 1787, could not read which month,son of Jan Assen en Gerritje Albers. Okay. It seems that Jacob Riel and Jacobje Fidder did not marry in Ermelo. Found some probable siblings of her that married in Ermelo, Peter Fidder, Tannetje Fidder and Geertje Fidder, but no connection (yet). Hannes RIEL and Maria ASSEN were married on Mar 18, 1847 in Netherlands.
