Beatrice L. Burr, age 89, a homemaker of Hale, Mich., died on July 29, 2002, at her home. She was born on December 31, 1912 in Renfrew, Ontario, Canada to James and Mary (Dajenais) Loranger. Beatrice was a member of the Goodar Bible Church in South Branch. She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn (John) Todd of South Branch; Shirley (Gerald) Erskine of South Branch; Joan (Dale) Erskine of Hemlock; Connie (Timothy) Zissler of Richfield, Minn.; sons, Gerald (Shirley) Burr; of Glennie; Robert (Marge) Burr of South Branch and Thomas (Jane) Burr of St. Charles; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren and five great-great-great-grandchildren: brother, Louis (Mary) Loranger of Saginaw; sister-in-law, Marge Loranger of Saginaw and many nieces and nephews. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Burr, grandson, John Todd III, brothers, Ambrose and Clayton Loranger, sisters, Cecilia Loranger, Eva McGallister, Leona DeShone and Clarissa Mead.
Visitation will: take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2002 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hale Chapel of the Buresh-Bennett Funeral Home in Hale. Services will be on Thursday, August 1, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor E. Joseph Savard officiating. Interment will be in Oakgrove Cemetery in South Branch. Memorials may be made to the Goodar Bible Church Building Fund, Goodar Twp. Fire Department or to St. Joseph Huron Home Health Care Hospice.
