Quakers settled in Adolphustown and the surrounding area starting in
the 1790's. The Adolphustown Meeting later gave way to the larger West
Lake Meeting at Bloomfield. Quakers left many wonderful records.
A few of us are transcribing NY Nine Partners Quaker books from 1760 to
1810. They include people who came to the Quinte area. See this page at the Canadian Friends Hist Assoc where the books are being posted.
