Marion Cronk had many Bibles in her possession but only four were found to be old family Bibles that contained family records.
These Bibles are not part of the E. H. Cronk Fonds but Gord Moran kindly allowed Randy Saylor to copy the pages for transcription.

Ichabod Bowerman was the ofspring of English parentage descended from one
three
brothers by the name of Bowerman who
emigrated to
America in the early settlement of the cuntry,
and
settled in one of the eastern staits, Ichabod Bowerman
was born and
brought up in Massachusetts where he married Lydia Mot they had the six
follwin children namely, Timothy,
Elizabeth, David, Jane,
Hannah, & Sarah; the ??rd of their ages
is not
know, Lydia died and he married Jane Richmond by whome
he had twelve children, they moved to the stait
of
New York where he rais bought a
farm in the
Co, of Duches where raised his numours
family, he being a member of the society
of friends brought up his family in their principles, they all
emigrated to
Canada except Timothy, Sarah, Phebe and
Deborah about
1790 and setled in Prince Edward Co, he
died in Duches Co, in 1797 aged near 70
years, his widow died
removed to Canada with some of her children where she died in 1797.

According to “Freeman’s History of
Cape Cod vol II” Thomas Bowerman the
ancestor was in Plymouth in 1632 – in Bedford 1643. His will is
dated in 1663
May 9th. Mr Savage says he died
May 25th
1679. He married Hannah Annable daughter
of Anthony Annable March 16th
