Estate Settlement


We the Subscribers have met according to an order of Court Nov. Term 1799, to settle and divide the Estate of Holdman Southall dec.d ____The Admins. not having the Estate settled had nothing more divided only the Negroes & they being divided and drawn as follows Viz. ____

Silva & Ethan to Rebeckah Southall -------------- L 165
Agg & Sa1to Jno Southall     141,,13,,4
Ben- -to Henry Southall     125,,~
Crissy to Furney Southall     112,,13,,4

Mrs. George Gardner being one of the heirs of the said dec.d had rec.d one negro by the name of Diner to the value of one Hundred & twenty five pounds & Mr .William Chamborenless (?) being an heir also had rec.d one by the name of Nana to the amount of one hundred & twenty five pounds. Given under our hands & seals this 15th day of May 1797.
