John Easter of Mecklenburg County to Alexander Boyd & Co. 105/6/5 pounds Virginia Money . . . Tract or parcel of land, 100 acres more or less whereon the said now lives . . . is tract which the said John purchased of Robert Coleman . . . Recorded in Lunenburg Co.; also one Negro Fellow Jack; one cow & yearling; one black Horse . . . one Bay Mare . . . Pewter Potts & all my Household Furniture . . . one Womans Sadle [sic]; one Mans Sadle[sic]; 16 Hogs; with all the appertenances [sic] Belonging or in any wise appertaining [sic] to the premises . . . Upon trust that the said Alexander Boyd & Co. . . . shall after the 1 August 1773 . . . sell for the best that can be gotten . . . and out of the money . . . satisfy to Alexander Boyd & Co. the above mentioned sum of 105/6/5 pounds with Lawful interest from 12 July 1773 . . .
