Abstract of Deed of Trust
John Easter to Matthew Marrable

Mecklenburg County, Virginia

John Easter of Mecklenburg County to Matthew Marrable of same County . . . settlement of acct . . . 52/55/10 pounds . . . all that Tract parcelly [sic] peace [sic] of Land containing 100 acres whereon the said John now lives and is the Tract which he the said John purchased of Robert Coleman for bounds & courses Reference being had to the deed Recorded in Lunenburg Court . . . to have & to hold the said land & appertenances [sic] . . . The true intent & meaning of these writings are such that the said Lands is to be held and Trust for and During the space of one year During which time the said Easter is to be at Liberty to sell & Dispose of the same to whome [sic] he pleaseth provided he the said John pay the said Mathew the aforesaid sum of Two pound for[black smudge on paper] shillings & Ten pence Farthing. Together the Interest of aforesaid of the costs of Recording . . . In case the said John should not sell within the said one year then the said Matthew . . . is at Liberty to and Dispose of the same to whome [sic] or they pleaseth for as much as can be got in Ready money paying to the said John the overplush if any.
