Know all men by these presents, that we Samuel B. Denny & James M. Loving (son to Geo) are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Virginia in the just and full sum of Two hundred Dollars, to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind our heirs & c jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals and dated this 6th day of October 1846. The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas the above bound Samuel Denny is this day by the Court appointed Guardian to Elizabeth W. Denny, Infant child of said Samuel Denny, and under the age of Fourteen years. Now if the said Samuel Denny shall well and truly save harmlefs and imdemnify the Justices aforesaid in their said appointment, and in all respects discharge his Guardian according to Law, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

At a Court held for Nelson County the 26th day of October 1846

This Guardians Bond was executed and acknowledged in open Court by the parties hereto, and the same is ordered to be recorded.
