THIS CERTIFIES that on p. 81 of vol. 6 of the manuscript Confederate records in the Archives Division of the Virginia State Library the information is given that G. V. Correll was a private in Co. C - 54th Regiment, Marshall's Brigade commanded by Captains J. L. Ryan and Jos. C. Taylor that he enlisted 1862 and served 3 years
