Scotland gets its name from the SCOTT
family that founded a Christian Church there as seen in
the 1876 plat book. In a brief history on this cemetery,
the DAR transcription says that this cemetery was also
once called Pilot Grove. |

From Coffey, MO, go east on route
"B" for 4 miles until route "UU".
Turn right (south) on "UU" and go 2 miles. Turn
left (east) on Flint Av and go 3/4 mile. Turn right
(south) on 260 St, then a quick left (east) back onto
Flint for 1/4 mile. The cemetery will be on the right
(south) side of the road.** |
