| Location |
Section 28, T61N, R28W. Thanks to R.D.
Cummings of PELL ancestry for pointing out that the 1984
History of Daviess County describes the location as being
right (south) to timber off Route C just past Cypress
Creek, being on the border of Section 28 & 29. This
matches perfectly with the 1898 Plat Book which plots a
cemetery at this location. According to the cemetery map
at the Daviess County library, Pell cemetery lies on the
south side of what is route "C" in Section
27--I believe this cemetery map at the library to be
incorrect. |
| Directions |
On Interstate 35, take the route
"C" exit (exit 78?). Turn right onto
"C" and go 2 1/2 miles south and east to just
past Cypress Creek. The cemetery will be in or at the
edge of timber maybe 1/4 mile off the right (south) side
of the road.** |
