Pattonsburg
Old Town (Benton)
| Name/History |
Perhaps the cemetery could be called
"Ancient Town," for the cemetery is located
where the original Pattonsburg lay. That is, in
the future one might call the present-day post-1993 flood
location of Pattonsburg "New Pattonsburg," the
pre-1993 flood location of old Elm Flat "Old
Pattonsburg," and the pre-Elm Flat original
location of Pattonsburg "Ancient Pattonsburg"
so as to distinguish the three spots where Pattonsburg
has been. |
