| Driving Directions | From the northernmost exit of I-35 in Daviess County, or Coffey exit: head west on route N away from Coffey. Go 2 miles west on route N to US 69. Enyart cemetery lies 4 miles due west from this point (the intersection of 69 & N). There are different ways to get there by car, none paved (since the cemetery lies on Cord Av which is unpaved), each with different challenges; two are suggested here: (Option #1) ("the direct way") Go south on 69 1/4 mile and turn right (west) on Cord Av which I believe is gravel in places and dirt in other. Cord takes you straight west a mile and then curves right (north) and winds for a couple of miles and involves crossing two small bridges over creeks before straightening again and heading due west again. Once the road straightens, follow it two miles to the cemetery. You will pass a couple of roads (130 st and 125 st) to your right followed by one to your left (123 st). The cemetery is about 1/2 mile past 123 st or about 1/4 mile past a farming complex on your left. The cemetery is just off the road by an aluminum farming gate on the left (south) side of the road. (Option #2) ("the back way") Go north on 69 1 1/4 miles to route T. Turn left (west) on T and go about 6 miles to AA. (T turns south at about 4 miles and turns back west after a mile). At AA, turn left (south) and go 1/2 mile to Cord Ave. Turn left (east) on Cord and continue 2 miles alternating some south, mostly east until you reach the cemetery which will be on your right (south) at an aluminum farming gate. A county map is highly recommended; the Daviess County Source Guide: Maps contains some modern suggestions. |
