Driving Directions:
-- From Gallatin, MO, go 3-4 miles west on St. Hwy 6 until 190 St., which is gravel. Turn right (north) and go 1/2 mile until Oval Av. As I remember, there is a small sign here directing one to turn left to go towards Creekmore Cemetery. At Oval, which is gravel with weeds growing in middle, turn left (west) and go 8/10 mile. You will pass the Lake Viking water tower at 6/10 of a mile. Creekmore cemetery will be in plain view on the north side of the road when you arrive at the 8/10 mile mark.
Maintenance Info:
-- It appears that there is some ongoing maintenance program for this cemetery. Some of the older stones such as Elisha Creekmore's and William Smith's have been piled and accumulated in the northwest corner. Lacking is a Creekmore Cemetery sign welcoming visitors to the cemetery.
